And now we get to the one you're probably most interested in: the Marinemaster Professional 1000m with a Hi-Beat movement (SBEX001). The movement, called the 8L55, I feel confident in saying is just a version of Grand Seiko's immensely successful 9S85 movement, so you're getting the best tech that Seiko can offer with this model. As I mentioned, this is actually not Seiko's first Hi-Beat diver--in fact, this watch is inspired by the original, the 6159-7001. Not only does it have a stunning resemblance, it exceeds the original's water resistance by over 300%. The case is titanium with Seiko's super hard coating, monocoque again for strength, and is 48.2mm. Unfortunately, this is a limited edition of just 700 pieces and I imagine all will be gone very quickly. I'd love to see this as a full production model.

This is arguably one of the most sophisticated mechanical diver's watches in the industry today.
