My G690 at burning man

Postby Gargantua » Tue Oct 28, 2008 1:34 pm

So I took my G690 to burning man. These were taken with a 65mm f8 lens and SFX 200 film. I think these turned out best out of all the photos I took.

The equipment load got on the side of ridiculous, with the G690 + it's lenses and 2 other cameras tied down to my bike.

Great pictures, thanks for sharing them.

Out of curiosity, what other 2 cameras did you bring to the event? A 8x10 and a 6x17 panoramic?

Cheers!

An 8x10 would of completely broke my bike rack. I was really pushing it already.

I brought a Pentax LX and a Zero Image 4x5, and now that I think about it a K1000 too, so I could switch between daylight and tungsten film. I did see someone with a 617 out there. I almost commented but it looked like he was in the zone with what he was doing. The Zero Image ended up being a real attention getter.
