Still waiting for it to arrive so I can start shooting with the camera of my dream. Also have a a Fuji GX680, a Mamiya RB67 and a Mamiya C22. The Fuji 690 will be my first ever rangefinder.
Hi Fredrik and welcome here.
I'm sure you will like the GL690. Although it's a large camera, it is also very easy to handle, compared to your GX680, RB67 and Mamiya TLR. If you can live with their limitations (no extreme telephoto lenses, no macro, no special effects filters

...), rangefinder cameras are very fun to use. On the big Fujis, the sheer mass of the camera combined with the absence of vibrations due to mirror slap allow me to take pictures handheld at 1/8 sec -- but I have to admit than I am rather steady handed. With Fuji Pro 800z loaded, a Fuji G690 with the 65mm or the 100mm AE lens is the ultimate street camera!
Cheers!
