Never seen such a beautifull and complete lot on $bay...Right now, coming from Germany (closed december 13), gl690+4 lenses !!!! And yes, the 50mm is over there...

Think of it, with all the money he spent on the camera and four lenses, the buyer could instead have bought one old brassed black Leica M3 body with no lenses. Maybe.

I'm entranced by the (spirit) level atop the lens mount. Would it be attached by Araldite or similar? That seems a bit drastic; perhaps I'll continue to use the accessory shoe instead.

Yes, 1766 Euros is still a lot cheaper than an Alpa with a 38mm Biogon lens. And the Alpa + Biogon combo will only cover 44x66, not 6x9. Neither will a Mamiya 7 with its super expensive 43mm lens. There is still the good old Mamiya Universal with its 6x9 back. But if you add the price for a body in acceptable shape, a 6x9 back, a 6.3/50mm and a 65mm, both with finder, as well as 2 tele lenses, it will probably cost more than this GL690, for a camera which is a lot less usable IMHO.
