Is there any way of having some type of lens correction in the eyepiece within my BL.

With thanks

Brian

Hi Brian,

I understand you have the G690 BL. The eyepiece on this camera has a 19mm thread and accepts the same correction diopters as well as the angled finder made by Fuji for the ST series SLRs. These items are shown on this picture :

Unfortunately, the genuine Fuji accessories are quite rare nowadays, but the 19mm thread is the same as on the Nikon F3, FA, FE, FM, FM2 or FM3, which means that you can use any of the eyepiece accessories designed by Nikon for these DSLRs, including the angled finder DR-3.

Nowadays there are many cheap Chinese made diopters in 19mm screwmount available on EBay.

Cheers!

Sebastien

Ta for that Sebastien. I'm still blown away with the results from the 690. Once I have my Durst enlarger up and running, it will be great fun to produce fantastic B&W 20x24 via the 6x9 negs.
