Hello all or rather a big aloha...
I am trying to use a flash system with my newly purchased BL 690. I have a sync cord that fits an RZ lens but will not attach to the 100mm lens?
Is there something I am missing? Do i need a specific sync cord or flash attachment?

Hi Marco,
Welcome to the forum, and I had a similar sync cord/pc cord socket issue with my silver 65mm f/8 lens. I sent the lens and GL690 to Essex Camera in NJ to replace the pc sync (it may have been an older Nikon type but I never found a compatible cable and my camera needed a CLA anyway, so I sent it off for repair) . Essex replaced the pc socket, and I can use my sync cords with the lens now, but short of repair/replacement, Sebastien suggested the Nikon sync cord idea - if you have a nearby camera store maybe you can bring your camera or even just your lens and try out their various sync cords to see if you can find a working (and cheaper) option.
